Please carefully review the following Terms and Conditions for the motorcycle tours with INDIAN RIDES Pvt Ltd before making any bookings. Your agreement to these terms, along with the appropriate deposit(s), establishes a contract between you, the Rider/Client, and INDIAN RIDES Pvt Ltd, the Organizer. This contractual arrangement is subject to the Terms and Conditions outlined in this document.
It is important to note that your booking with us is governed by and interpreted in accordance with Indian law and the standards of the Indian Judiciary System. INDIAN RIDES Pvt Ltd is duly registered with the Govt. of India, Rajasthan Department of Tourism, under our Corporate Identity Number U55101RJ2008PTC026335.
THIS AGREEMENT IS MADE IN INDIA WHEN WE ACCEPT YOUR BOOKING AND IS SUBJECT TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION AND LAWS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA.
- PREREQUISITE CONDITIONS
- Responsible Riding: You participate with INDIAN RIDES Pvt Ltd knowing that motorcycle touring in India involves a certain amount of potential hazard even as a competent rider and you do so entirely at your own risk. The security and safe control of your motorcycle while riding, is entirely your responsibility.
- Medical Fitness: It is imperative to be medically fit and take necessary precautions before embarking on the tour, considering varying road conditions and extreme weather.
- Experienced Riding: The Rider is required to have at least 3 years on-road and off-road motorcycle riding experience on large capacity motorcycles to ride on our tours and is expected to ride with skill, care and confidence.
- Zero Tolerance for Unnecessary Risks: Understand that taking unwarranted risks during the tour may lead to immediate termination of your journey. In such cases, you will travel in the support vehicle for the remainder of the tour without any reimbursement. We prioritize safety above all.
- Traffic Laws Compliance: Strictly adhere to traffic laws and regulations in each region. You are solely responsible for any fines incurred. Non-compliance is not tolerated.
- Riding Gear Responsibility: Take full responsibility for your riding gear and equipment. Helmets are mandatory at all times while on the motorcycle. Your safety is paramount, and any negligence will not be tolerated.
- Pillion Responsibility: If carrying a pillion, you are fully responsible for their safety. Ensure they adhere to all safety protocols during the entire journey.
- Compulsory Documents: Recognize the non-negotiable nature of the following five documents:
- A valid passport with an expiry of 6 months
- The Valid visa
- A valid Motorcycle Licence
- A valid International Driving Permit, and
- A valid Travel insurance policy, having comprehensive coverage for personal health, repatriation, and belongings, including protection for riding a high-capacity motorcycle for transportation. It is advisable to print a copy of your insurance details for safekeeping during your tour/travels. Riders are kindly requested to provide the insurance numbers and addresses to our guide for record-keeping.
Failure to present any of these documents on arrival will result in denial of participation in the motorcycle tour.
Assertive Compliance: Understand that adherence to these rules is not negotiable. Failure to comply will result in immediate exclusion from the tour. Your commitment to safety is mandatory for participation.
Supplementary Documents:
- Vaccination Certificate (when required)
- Carry spare passport-sized photographs for permits and SIM card purchases.
- Have photocopies of your passport and visa page as backups for permits, SIM card purchases, and in case of loss.
- Keep important telephone numbers, such as your credit card company's contact number, in case of loss or theft.
- Ensure you have medical insurance, especially if your travel insurance doesn't sufficiently cover your needs.
Please note that we adhere to IATA directives, and we do not purchase international air tickets on behalf of our Riders/Clients for any of our tours. When necessary, we will provide advice on the exact flight ticket to purchase and, in some cases, recommend a specific ticketing agent to complete tour details.
BOOKING STEPS
- Circuit Selection: Choose your desired circuit.
- Request Submission: Send a request, including your contact details, to [email protected] or by calling +91-9649490000 or through our contact us page.
- Quote Response: Expect a quote response within 72 hours.
- Acceptance and Registration: Upon acceptance of the quote, complete a registration form/sales contract - sign and confirm approval by writing "read and approved." This contract signifies the mutual commitment to the chosen circuit.
- Documentation Submission: Indian Rides will send you a registration form having a General condition of sale, a Copy of the circuit description, and an Information sheet on participants. Submit these documents promptly so that we can make necessary reservations (train, national plane tickets, etc.).
- Payment Commitment: Pay 30% of the total reservation amount upon ordering and pay & 70% of the remaining balance one month before the scheduled tour.
- Payment Methods: Make payments to the HDFC India account in the name of Indian Rides (details in the registration form). Alternatively, use the website for credit card payments.
- Payment Confirmation: Upon verification of the payment by Indian Rides, you will receive a payment certificate email. An invoice will be sent enclosing full details, including information required for visa application.
- Final Validation: The file is validated only upon full payment.
- Communication Responsibility:
- Ensure proper receipt of emails and regularly check your electronic inbox, including the "Spam" or "Junk Mail" folders.
- Indian Rides is not responsible for any inaccuracies resulting from incorrect coordinates provided by the Buyer.
- Buyer's carelessness or negligence cannot be attributed to Indian Rides.
- All bank charges regarding payment of said booking shall be borne by the Rider / Pillion.
Note: From your online booking it will be deemed that you guarantee to have the authority and required motorcycling experience to partake in such a motorcycle tour and that you accept the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
RESERVATION DEADLINE BEFORE DEPARTURE
- Reservations for tours are accepted up to 15 days before the commencement date. It is essential to be aware that securing train tickets and plane tickets becomes significantly challenging if the departure date is less than three months. Therefore, Indian Rides reserves the right to make last-minute adjustments to the itinerary to address any challenges arising from the late reservation of train or plane tickets. Every effort will be made to ensure the best possible service is maintained.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- In the event that the Rider wishes to modify or cancel their booking for any reason, encompassing situations such as death, accident, illness, or other personal reasons, including non-payment of the balance, INDIAN RIDES Pvt Ltd acknowledges the need to impose cancellation charges. All requests for cancellations or amendments be communicated in writing.
Cancellation charges will be applied in the following manner upon receipt of your cancellation:
Days before the trip departure date — fees charged
60 - 120 days before the trip departure date — 10% of the total price will be Charged
45 - 59 days before the trip departure date — 20% of the total price will be Charged
16 - 44 days before the trip departure date — 30% of the total price will be Charged
9 - 15 days before the trip departure date — 50% of the total price will be Charged
0- 8 days before the trip departure date — 100% of the total price will be Charged
- In the event of a delay or anticipated lateness, please contact us through the provided contact details, and every effort will be made to arrange suitable alternatives further along the route. Any additional expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the Riders.
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows.
Requests for amendments to the original booking must be submitted in writing. The Company will process all changes only upon receiving written confirmation. However, if any amendment results in the cancellation of one or more services, the Company reserves the right to recover cancellation charges, as outlined in the above-mentioned table. - The specified cancellation charges apply solely to the primary tour and optional tours offered by the Company. For services such as air/train tickets or any third-party products, the Company will recover cancellation charges according to the terms specified by the respective airline/railways or third-party providers. The Company is also entitled to recover service charges for booking and canceling such services on behalf of the Client.
- It is advisable to ensure that your travel insurance covers cancellation expenses.
- Refunds will be processed within 15-20 working days from the date of the cancellation request. The refund will be issued online/offline (via Netbanking/Cheque/DD) based on the client's preference.
UNUSED SERVICES
- If your Tour is terminated early due to an accident, impaired fitness to continue, dismissal from a Tour, or any other reason, no refunds will be provided.
- Leaving a tour midway will result in the forfeiture of your Motorcycle Security Deposit. Please be aware of these terms and conditions before participating in the tour. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us for clarification.
- It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund
INSURANCE
- Indian Rides strongly advises Riders/Pillion to acquire comprehensive travel, health, and accident insurance prior to the trip. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they have suitable insurance coverage. Indian Rides hereby explicitly states that it is not responsible for any accidents, and participants acknowledge that neither Indian Rides nor its agents can be held liable for any incidents during the tour resulting in injury, death, loss, or damage to the customer, their property, or their family heirs or assigns.
- While no one anticipates accidents, it is crucial to be prepared. A travel insurance policy should cover personal health and medicinal needs, including hospitalization or repatriation back to your country. In case of unfortunate events, the tour leader will coordinate the best available evacuation services based on local resources.
- Participants are requested to provide an alternative emergency contact, ensuring that, if a serious incident occurs, the alternative contact will be promptly informed about the participant's condition. Indian Rides emphasizes the importance of proactive measures to safeguard participants' well-being during the tour.
AMENDMENTS IN TOUR
- Our tours are meticulously planned months in advance to mitigate potential challenges associated with adverse climate conditions. However, should unforeseeable situations beyond our control, such as landslides, snow pack, earthquakes, or glacier movement, arise during the tour, we reserve the right to adjust the route and take detours as necessary to ensure the safety of all participants. Your welfare is our top priority in such situations, and the decision of the Indian Rides Guide is deemed final. In these rare instances, additional costs may be incurred, and it is the responsibility of the Riders/Pillions to cover these expenses. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable adventure.
- Indian Rides retains the right to alter dates, times, or planned itineraries if it deems necessary to ensure the safety of the traveler. Under such circumstances, travelers cannot seek compensation. If a planned itinerary is deemed impractical, Indian Rides will utilize the committed but unspent funds to propose an alternative route.
FORCE MAJEURE
- Indian Rides strongly advises Riders/Pillion to acquire comprehensive travel, health, and accident insurance prior to the trip. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they have suitable insurance coverage. Indian Rides hereby explicitly states that it is not responsible for any accidents, and participants acknowledge that neither Indian Rides nor its agents can be held liable for any incidents during the tour resulting in injury, death, loss, or damage to the customer, their property, or their family heirs or assigns.

LOSS OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
- Loss or theft of air tickets without duplicates issued by airlines is not the responsibility of Indian Rides.
- Failure to present valid identity and health documents (e.g., passport, visa, vaccination certificates) as per travel offer and registration requirements may result in complications.
- Non-compliance with document validity or requirements may lead to issues at customs or registration.
- In case of failure to register or delayed boarding, 100% of the total amount for services is chargeable.
- In the event of loss or theft of the traveler's documents or personal belongings, we advise the customer to file a report at the local police station where the incident occurred. Indian Rides will consistently be available to assist the customer throughout these procedures.
- In case of loss, the traveler is responsible for covering the travel costs associated with obtaining the necessary documents reissued from the relevant authorities.
- Travelers need to ensure the safety and validity of their travel documents. Travelers must make copies of their passport and visa.
INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
- Kindly refer to the relevant section detailing inclusions/exclusions with each itinerary.
- If you choose to avail of any services not included in the tour cost or opt for upgrades, the corresponding payment must be settled.
- It is important to note that expenses such as porterage, room service, laundry, excess baggage charges, a la carte meals, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, paid toilets, etc., are not included unless explicitly stated in the itinerary.
TOUR RULES
The general rules for all tours are:
- Adhere to all traffic rules and local speed limits.
- Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages or mind altering drugs while actively riding the motorcycle during the tour. Consumption is permitted only after the motorcycle is parked at the hotel each night after the day's tour.
- Follow the established itinerary outlined in each daily summary.
- Obey and respect all instructions and decisions provided by the tour leader.
- Mandatory use of appropriate protective gear (helmet, jacket, trousers, gloves, boots) in all circumstances without exceptions.
Failure to comply with the rules and instructions that pose a risk to individual or collective safety, as provided by Indian Rides employees, will result in the immediate cancellation of the rights of any Riders. Suppose Riders fail to adhere to traffic rules or group trip requirements, including refraining from alcohol consumption while riding. In that case, Indian Rides reserves the right to exclude the Rider from further participation in the tour. In such cases, the Rider is not entitled to a refund of the travel fee and will be held liable for any additional costs incurred.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- Indian Rides does not take any responsibility or liability for any acts, omissions or defaults of third-party service providers such as airlines, hotels, site seeing, shipping, transfer, and the like, whether negligent or otherwise over whom we have no direct control.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
For participating in a motorcycle tour in India, it is crucial to fulfill the necessary visa requirements. Visitors to India typically require a valid visa for entry, and the process can vary depending on the traveler's nationality. To apply for an Indian visa for a motorcycle tour, individuals should initiate the application through the official website of the Indian embassy www.indianvisaonline.gov.in, or consulate in their home country. The application process often involves submitting required documents such as a valid passport, passport-sized photographs, a completed visa application form, proof of accommodation, travel itinerary, and proof of financial means.
To enter and travel in India, you only require a ‘single entry Indian Tourist Visa’.
It is advisable to start the visa application well in advance to allow for processing time and ensure a smooth travel experience. Regular updates and guidance from the Indian embassy or consulate website will provide valuable information for a successful visa application process.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
If any dispute arises concerning the agreement between you and Indian Rides are subject to Indian law, only in the courts of Jaipur, India will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, India, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.

ACCEPTANCE OF TRIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I understand that I will be required to sign a Release and Waiver Form before I can participate in a Tour. I have read and accepted the terms of conditions. I am aware that motorcycling can be dangerous. I am aware that traffic conditions, roads, weather, and other conditions as well as the actions of other members of the trip can influence the risks. I agree to accept those risks.
I am an experienced responsible and healthy motorcyclist with a valid motorcycle driver licence. As a passenger, I am aware of the potential dangers of motorcycling.
I further agree and understand that the owners, operators, and agents of this trip, including Indian Rides, are not the guardians of my safety. They, individually or collectively, cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the operation of my participation in the trip which might result in injury, death or other damage to me, my property or my family heirs or assigns.
