D1 Delhi - Kufri

Our Adventurous Motorcycle Tour to the Unexplored and Offbeat destination of Spiti valley begins from Delhi, the capital city of India. A representative from Indian Rides will pick you up in the evening from your hotel to board the overnight bus for the journey to the surreal hills of Shimla, leading to its small village of Kufri.

D2 Kufri

Kufri, a quaint Himalayan Village, nestled in the bosom of tall Shivalik ranges offers a panoramic view of the surrounding verdant valleys and snow-capped peaks.

Today after lunch, meet your fellow riders, get acquainted with the Team of Indian Rides, your travel buddies on your motorcycle adventure tour to the Gateway of Tibet. The owner of Indian Rides, Mr Naren, will brief the terrain and day- wise road map. He, along with his team of support, will lead the group to the thrilling Spiti Valley Bike Trip.

After a sumptuous lunch, it's time to get acquainted with your Royal Enfield Motorcycle for An Adventurous Motorbike Expedition to the Great Himalayas on Royal Enfield. Sit behind the bar and set off for the challenging days in the saddle of your Royal Enfield on the challenging trails scouted with care for the Guided Spiti Valley Motorcycle Tour to India. Become familiar with control layouts, safety precautions and bike handling. Understand your motorcycle better with a test drive, as it will be your constant company for the upcoming Himalayan Experience on Motorcycle.

D3 Kufri - Sarahan

Set off early this morning, with your first leg of the Trip to Gateway of Tibet on Motorcycle.
Ride towards the beautiful Kinnaur Valley, known as the fruit bowl of Himachal Pradesh. Witness the picturesque view of apple-loaded orchards, snow-covered peaks and magnificent vistas throughout the way.

Next destination in our Motorbike expedition to the Himalayas is Sarahan, Located at an elevation of around 6900 feet and blessed with the mighty divine presence of Shrikhand Mahadev, is a heaven for nature lovers.
Pay a visit to Sarahan’s popular tourist landmark, the Bhima Kali temple, which is one of 51 Shakti Peethas.
 

D4 Sarahan - Sangla - Batseri

Today after a delicious breakfast, get ready to leave for another Motorbike Himalayan Ride that travels along the gushing Sutlej river and experience the most beautiful views of Kinnaur Valley. Ride towards the picturesque and heavenly Sangla valley — alternatively known as Baspa valley, situated at the height of 3223 m.
Ride ahead on the slim and adventurous motorcycle roads leading to Spiti valley en route to Batseri village. Whereby you will be  crossing some large stretched meadows and valleys. Explore the hidden spots of the village and capture its uniqueness in your cameras.

D5 Sangla - Kalpa

Today after breakfast, you will continue the Trip to Lahaul Spiti via Kinnaur with a ride along side the river Baspa towards the next village from the fairy tales, Kalpa. Set in the backdrop of the majestic Kinner Kailash mountain range, the charming village is an idyllic beauty of the Himalayas.
Enjoying the view of the setting sun touching the snow peaks will leave you spell bound.
Being close to the Indo- Tibetan border the area has a strong Tibetan impact. Get to know more about Tibetan Culture from the locals and relish Tibetan and Indian delicacies as you encounter the blend of cultures in the Cultural Tour to the Gateway Of Tibet on Royal Enfield.

D6 Kalpa - Tabo

With the first light of the morning, Open your eyes to the chirping and fluttering of birds
This day of expedition to Spiti and Lahaul valley on Motorbike is going to be of moderate level.
Enjoy the breathtaking beautiful journey witnessing the vistas en-route the Hindustan Tibet Highway, one amongst them being the Khab – The confluence of the Spiti and the Sutlej River.
Delve into the enchanting beauty of the valley offering the clear view of the Leo Purygal Peak from the Khab Bridge.
Continue your venturesome Spiti Valley Bike Trip to the village of Tabo, also known as the “Ajanta of Himalayas.” Pay your respect to the 1200 years old Tabo Monastery, famous for its holiness and also is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Embark on the stargazing at the view point in Tabo.

D7 Tabo - Dhankar Gompa - Kaza

Today’s ride is going to be the most exhilarating, long and full of adventure in your Spiti Valley Bike Tour as you will be riding on one of the most scenic and thrilling routes.
After Breakfast, be prepared for the long leg of the day to Kaza en route to Dhankar Monastery. 
This beautiful monastery is locked between the rocky spurs at the top of the cliff at an elevation of over 3,800 meters whereby the monastery offers a spectacular view of Spiti Valley.
Continuing Spiti Motorcycle Tour Itinerary to Kaza, the biggest town in the Spiti Valley which operates as the sub-divisional head quarters of the valley. Located on the east bank of the Spiti River and at an elevation of 3,650 meters, the town is the central point for travelers entering the valley from both Shimla and Manali. A scenic treat, Kaza is fenced by high mountain ridges on all fronts. In the imposing greens, the town is astonishingly rich in high- altitude flora and fauna. 

D8 Kaza - Pin Valley – Kungri – Mudh - Kaza

Today will be the most arduous day in the Itinerary to the Himalayas Of Spiti Valley. It is an untarred road all the way till Mudh, full of loose gravel, a bit bumpy where the Pin River flowing right next to the slutry roads, offering the beautiful vistas. There are spots where you can leave your bike on the road and come down on the banks of Pin River to click some pictures.
One such great sight is the confluence of Spiti and Pin river, ride ahead to Spiti’s second oldest Monastery - Kungri Monastery, belongs to the Nyingmapa order of Buddhism which is known as the oldest order of Tibetan Buddhism.

Continue your Motorbike Adventure Ride to the last village in Pin valley -Mudh. Relax, take a walk around the village, and enjoy the natural beauty and peace. Feel the slowing down of time and life a bit, sit down and have a cup of tea while you have a chit-chat with the locals. Experience what it feels like to live every hour of the day.
Ride back to Kaza.

D9 Kaza - Kibber - Chandratal Lake

Today is another experiential day in the Bike Riding Adventurous Indo-Tibet Road Trip
After breakfast hit the road for Chandratal Lake.
The Gateway of Tibet on motorcycle will start from Kibber which is around 20 kms from Kaza. Key monastery in Kibber will be our first halt. Also called the Key Gompa Monastery, sitting at the magnanimous height of 3870 m, between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley of the small village Langza. The monastery is approximately 1000 years old and is the symbolic salutation to the spiritual beliefs of the Buddhist community.

As you ride your motorbikes, the next location on the maps is the beautiful Chandratal Lake which is also known as the moon lake due to its crescent shape, situated on the Samudra Tapu plateau, at an altitude of 4,300 meters. In the midst of the brown shade of mountains there is a shimmering turquoise blue patch of the lake which soothes the eyes by its beauty. The lake looks completely different at different times of the day.

Stay at camp overnight. And don’t forget to witness the magical night sky from here, where one can see the entire Milky way galaxy from the naked eyes.

D10 Chandratal Lake - Manali

Today is the day to ride your Motorcycle on the most Adventurous and Highest Motorable Passes perching at the sky piercing altitudes.
Today’s ride is going to be one of the most daring on this entire expedition as you will cross two high altitude passes. After riding for a couple of hours, you will cross Kunzum Pass (4,590m) which happens to be the highest mountain pass on this Guided Motorcycle Tour of Spiti Himalayas. Before reaching Manali, you will also cross the most visited mountain pass in India; Rohtang Pass (3,978m) which offers fine views of glaciers and snow- capped peaks. After reaching Manali, check-in to the hotel.
Evenings are beautiful in Manali where one can sit in a riverside cafe of Old Manali for a hot cup of coffee with a view of the gushing Beas River and swaying eucalyptus covering tall cliffs.

D11 Manali - Delhi (overnight bus)

Today after breakfast, if you wish you can discover the quaint charming places of Manali.
Can explore Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungari Temple, an ancient cave temple surrounded by tall cedar forest, dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata on your own or visit local Tibetan Monasteries and mountain villages and experience the slow paced lives of the natives.  
Buy yourself a souvenir from the Mall road as a return ticket and retain the beauty of mountains in your heart, whose memories would never fade away from your recollections of the Lahaul Spiti Road Trip.
In the late evening board the overnight Bus for your way back to the low plains after leaving your bike prints on the roads of the Himalayas.

D12 Delhi

On arrival, you will meet the representative of Indian Rides and will be transferred to your hotel. 
The remainder of the day is at leisure.
You can take a rest or discover the Indian capital on your own.

D13 Departure

After breakfast, this morning your Spiti Motorbike Expedition ends, the representative of Indian Ride will help to transfer you to Delhi International Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
