Takhteshwar Temple:- The temple is one of the oldest temples of the Gujarat state. The Takhteshwar Temple is located on a hillock in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The temple construction was finished in 1893 AD and was named after Maharaja Takhatsihnji who was one of the influential rulers of Bhavnagar, and the one who had ordered the temple to be built.
Gaurishankar Lake:- The Gaurishankhar Lake also known as the Bhavnagar Lake forms one of the most beautiful lakes in the city of Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The place is quite popular and is surrounded by a palace, a planetarium, a boat house and a garden with musical fountains making it all the more enthralling for the tourists.
Central Salt and Marine Research Institute:- Housed in a large and imposing building, the institute works for the improvement of salt quality and enhancing salt production. Those who have keen interest in science, the Central Salt and Marine Research Institute is an interesting place.
Velavadar Wildlife Sanctuary:- Take an excursion trip to the Velavadar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to rare Black Bucks (fastest antelopes of Indian origin). This is the only place where you can see these rare species.
Mahuva:- The small town of Mahuva, locally called Kashmir of Saurashtra for its surrounding landscape is known for its coconut tree plantations. Tourists are primarily attracted to the beach of the city. Nearby the beach, there is an age-old Bhavani Temple, a prime attraction of the tourists.
Barton Library and Museum:- Barton Library, the oldest library of Bhavnagar, was built in the 19th century. This library speaks of the cultural and chronological significance of Bhavnagar as well as Gujarat.
